Scott R. Ferris, Esq.
Scott received a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Arts Degrees, with honors, from Arizona State University in Communications. Scott attended the University of Tulsa College of Law, where he received his Juris Doctor Degree. He served as Chairman of the Graduate Students of Communication Committee and was nominated as the Outstanding Graduate Student and Outstanding Graduate Teaching Assistant for the College of Public Programs at Arizona State University. He has been published in the Journal of Society of Intercultural Education and Training and Research.
Scott serves with the following Professional Associations:
- American Bar Association, Estate and Trust Division
- State Bar of Arizona, Probate Section, Trial Practice Section
- Maricopa County Bar Association, Estate and Trust Section, Trial Practice Section
- National Association of Elder Law Attorney (NEALA)
- Probate Study Committee, Probate Division, Superior Court, Maricopa County.
Scott's major areas of practice are in probate related litigation including wills, trusts, conservatorships, guardianships, elder law, mental health law and other areas of law pertinent to such cases, and special matters. He is also a certified private fiduciary, having been certified by the Certification of the Arizona Supreme Court.
