LegalZoom, one of the most prominent sellers of do-it-yourself wills and other estate planning documents, is the target of a class action lawsuit in California charging that the company engages in deceptive business practices and is practicing law without a license.

License to Steal Video Series
Two new “channels” on AARP’s website share information and resources on elder abuse and, more specifically, power of attorney abuse. AARP’s TV show, Inside E Street, aired an episode last week called “License to Steal.” There are links and resources following the video. The show focuses on addressing power of attorney abuse, using the Brooke Astor case as a graphic example and featuring research and law reform efforts.
